Adverbs of manner usually go after the main verb or after the object of the main verb. He drives slowly. He is reading the map carefully. Adjectives that end in -/, double the /: careful → carefully -> Adjectives that end in consonant -y, change y to i: easy → easily Note: Some adjectives and adverbs have the same form: He's a fast driver.
