Common verbs followed by gerund or to infinitive When we use one verb after another verb, the second verb is usually in the gerund form (-ing) or the to infinitive. It's useful to learn which verbs take each form. gerund (infinitive + ing) Some verbs are followed by the gerund form. These include: enjoy, suggest, feel like, dislike, consider.
